At Meinecke-Johnson we have a proud history in building construction. Since Casper Johnson first entered the construction business in the late 1800s, it has remained a family tradition, and today Meinecke-Johnson is run by fourth and fifth generations of Johnsons. Over the years, we’ve expanded our building construction services beyond general contracting to include construction management and design/build.

Since the beginning, we’ve specialized in commercial construction in areas such as education, healthcare, hospitality, retail, business, and public facilities. Our clients have entrusted us with some of the most recognizable buildings in the Fargo area, including West Acres Mall, Concordia College’s bell tower and the Federal Courthouse in downtown Fargo. Many of our older projects have outlived their original purposes and have gone on to become city landmarks. In addition to local buildings, we’ve been selected for construction projects throughout North Dakota and across the country.
