At Meinecke-Johnson, we have a proud history in building construction. Since Casper Johnson first entered the construction business in the late 1800s, it has remained a family tradition. Today, Meinecke-Johnson is run by the fourth and fifth generations of Johnsons. Over the years, we’ve expanded our building construction services beyond general contracting to include construction management and design/build, solidifying our reputation as a leading General Contractor and Design Build Construction Company.
A Family Tradition
Our History
At Meinecke-Johnson, we have a proud history in building construction. Since Casper Johnson first entered the construction business in the late 1800s, it has remained a family tradition. Specializing in commercial construction, we have worked in various sectors such as education, healthcare, hospitality, retail, business, and public facilities. Our clients have entrusted us with some of the most recognizable buildings in the Fargo area, including West Acres Mall, Concordia College’s bell tower, and the Federal Courthouse in downtown Fargo. Many of our older projects have outlived their original purposes and have become city landmarks. In addition to local buildings, we’ve been selected for construction projects throughout North Dakota and across the country. Our attention to detail, level of craftsmanship, and ambition to take on new challenges have helped us become a preferred partner among the top building owners. As of current, the 5th & 6th Generation of the Meinecke-Johnson construction company continues to lead the Commercial Construction building in the Red River Valley and beyond.
