Meet the Crew

A Family Tradition

At Meinecke-Johnson we have a proud history. Since Casper Johnson first entered the construction business in the late 1800s, it has remained a family tradition, and today Meinecke-Johnson is run by the fourth and fifth generations of Johnsons. Over the years we've expanded our services beyond general contracting to include construction management and design/build, but not much else has changed...That's only because it hasn't needed to.

Since the beginning, we've specialized in education, healthcare, hospitality, retail, business and public facilities. Our clients have entrusted us with some of the most recognizable buildings in the area, including West Acres Shopping Center, Concordia College's bell tower and the federal courthouse in Fargo. Many of our older projects have outlived their original purposes and have gone on to become city landmarks. In addition to local buildings, we've been selected for projects throughout North Dakota and across the country. Our attention to detail, level of craftsmanship and ambition to take on new challenges have helped us become a preferred partner among the top building owners.
